Steps to Enroll

  • The K12 Enrollment Portal is your gateway to applying to Southern University Laboratory Virtual School (SULVS), offering real-time updates and convenient access to all the information you need to complete your enrollment.

  • Once you've started an application in the K12 Enrollment Portal, choose the option to add a new student or continue your existing application. Enter your child's information, select Southern University Laboratory Virtual School (SULVS), and click Submit to move forward.

  • In this step, you’ll enter more detailed information about your child and upload the required documents, such as proof of residency and a birth certificate. For a complete list of required documents, be sure to review the enrollment checklist.

  • Once the enrollment process is complete, your student will receive approval. Be sure to check your email for important updates on your student’s status and instructions for accessing the Online School platform.

Eligibility Requirements

To enroll in kindergarten, students must be 5 years old on or before
September 30.

SULVS is currently accepting new student enrollments for grades K–10. Students entering grade 11 may be eligible if they have siblings currently enrolled at SULVS.

Residency Requirements

All enrolled students must maintain full-time residency in the state of Louisiana while attending SULVS.
