MOY Literacy and Numeracy Screening Period
📖✏️ Mid-Year Literacy & Numeracy Screening
Southern University Laboratory Virtual School will conduct our Mid-Year Literacy and Numeracy Screenings to measure student growth and guide instructional support for the remainder of the school year. These assessments provide valuable insight into each student’s progress and help us ensure that every learner is on track for success.
📅 Screening Dates: December 1 -18, 2025
🎯 Who: All students in grades K-3
💡 Results will be shared with families, along with strategies and resources to support continued growth at home.

End of Semester Exam Period
End-of-Semester Exams – Let’s Finish Strong!
Southern University Laboratory Virtual School will be administering End-of-Semester Exams to assess student mastery of key concepts covered throughout the semester. These assessments provide valuable insight into academic progress and help prepare students for the next phase of learning.
📅 Exam Dates: December 15 -18, 2025
🎯 Who: Students in grades 9-12
💡 We encourage all students to review class notes, complete study guides, and reach out to their teachers with any questions before exam day.

Open Enrollment Closing
Enrollment for the 2025–2026 school year at Southern University Laboratory Virtual School (SULVS) is coming to a close! Families who wish to secure a spot in Louisiana’s only virtual laboratory school must complete the enrollment process by Friday, September 26, 2026.
As a full-time, tuition-free K–12 online school, SULVS offers:
