High School
Learning that Leads to
Life-Long Success
We understand that every student’s path to success is unique. That’s why our curriculum is designed to meet students where they are—supporting their individual learning styles, goals, and pace. Whether they're preparing for college, a career, or discovering their passions, we help unlock each learner’s full potential every step of the way.
Our Curriculum
Students engage with the K12 curriculum—developed by a team of experienced educators using proven instructional strategies to support academic growth and real-world readiness. Our program provides a strong foundation in core subjects while allowing students to explore their interests through a wide variety of self-paced electives in areas like music, world languages, and career exploration. Advanced Placement (AP) and dual enrollment opportunities are also available for students looking to get a head start on college.
As students transition from middle to high school, they take on more independent learning. High school courses are designed to support students pursuing a four-year university, a local community college, or a direct path into the workforce.
In high school, students will:
Learn rigorous, grade-level content
Complete coursework that includes writing assignments and research projects
Tackle real-world problems that require critical and analytical thinking
Push Your Potential
AP, Honors & Dual Enrollment Courses
At SULVS, we provide a range of advanced academic opportunities to support high-achieving students in reaching their college and career goals. Through our Dual Enrollment partnership with Southern University and A&M College, eligible students can take college-level courses while in high school and earn credit toward both their diploma and a college degree or certificate. We also offer Advanced Placement (AP) courses, which follow a rigorous curriculum developed by the College Board and may lead to college credit based on exam performance. In addition, our Honors classes are designed for motivated students, covering the same core curriculum as standard classes but exploring select topics in greater depth or at an accelerated pace. These options allow students to challenge themselves academically and get a head start on their future.

Our dedicated academic team uses a variety of K12 courses and tools to help students set goals and build a personalized path toward success.
