Our Curriculum
Our middle school program uses the K12 curriculum—designed by experienced educators using time-tested instructional methods to help students grow academically and personally. Students build a strong foundation in core subjects like math, English, science, and social studies, while also exploring interests through self-paced electives such as music and world languages.
Starting in 6th grade, students can begin exploring future possibilities with career exploration courses. These early experiences help them discover their passions—giving them a valuable head start on college and career planning.
The curriculum supports students as they transition to more independent learning while deepening their understanding of core subjects. Aligned with Louisiana state standards and designed to be engaging and interactive, our courses help students build critical thinking skills, take greater ownership of their education, and prepare for high school success.

Our middle school lessons are designed to spark curiosity and keep students engaged. Learners interact with dynamic online content and meaningful hands-on experiences—like videos, animations, at-home projects, and engaging reading materials.*
Each lesson includes both informal and formal assessments to help ensure students understand key concepts before moving on. With helpful planning tools and real-time progress tracking, students and families can stay on top of their learning. A broad range of subjects and lesson types encourages students to explore new interests and build deeper knowledge at their own pace.

Exploring Future College and Career Paths
Middle school is a time for students to start thinking about their future by exploring different career fields and discovering what interests them. Through our career and college prep program, students take a two-course series that introduces a wide range of industries and careers. They move from general career exploration to a deeper understanding of specific job opportunities. This early insight helps them make informed choices when selecting a high school career pathway—giving them a strong foundation for future college and career success.
